Landhuis de Oliphant is a monumental building that was built in 1591 in the newly diked polder near the new Sluis on the island of Voorne. In 1975, the monument was moved in its entirety to Charlois on Ijsselmonde. The Oliphant is therefore one of the few surviving castle-like homesteads from the 16th century.
Country house De Oliphant borders the Zuiderpark in Rotterdam. Weddings, company parties, Christmas drinks, meetings and many other events are regularly organized at our events location.

The location was a bit of a search, but the laser gaming was ultimately super fun. The explanation was clear and I could even make music requests😄 It was a fun outing!

We did the Arctic Circle Expedition on November 12th...and we had beautiful weather. Nice sunshine, sat on the terrace. Communication beforehand went very smoothly, adjustments were processed quickly, were also flexible. The reception was very warm and cozy. The guidance was super enthusiastic. Then made winter cocktails, guidance a little less enthusiastic. Then ate and the food was very good. In short, it was a successful day with nice guidance and a good reception. Positive about Flitz-events is their thinking along and flexibility and furthermore just well organized.

This afternoon super fun afternoon on the beach by the employees of Flitz-event; first power kiting 🪁 with a steady wind in the sun and then curling 🥌 competition. And competitive it became. Thnx for the organization and explanation. An absolute must for family or team outing!

Had a very nice cocktail workshop today, nice recipes, can also be made virgin for alcohol-free people! The cocktail master Sandor was very enthusiastic and explained everything well and in a fun way! Definitely recommended for a fun outing with friends!

Power kiting was great fun! Clear explanation and very friendly and helpful instructor. With 0 experience, everyone eventually managed to fly the kite. And even those who didn't dare do it eventually did it with extra help from the instructor. Definitely recommended for a fun weekend activity with friends. The fact that we had to hold each other so that you didn't fly into the air created hilarious moments and immediately created a good atmosphere for the rest of our weekend!

Landhuis de Oliphant has 5 rooms and an outside terrace when the weather is nice. Our 2 large rooms can accommodate up to 60 people for dinner and up to 80 people for drinks. We also have a large, beautiful French garden where various outdoor activities can be enjoyed. And as an extra, we have a cozy attic where you can have drinks and lunch.

Our rooms are closed, so you can rent the room exclusively from us. This way you and your group can experience your activity undisturbed. Landhuis de Oliphant also has everything to provide you and your group with culinary facilities. There is a choice of lunch, a 3-course dinner and a buffet. In combination with an activity of your choice, you will experience a fantastic group outing at 1 fixed location. Our packages can be expanded at an additional cost to, for example, a drink or a meeting in advance. Ask about our options and we will make a tailor-made arrangement for you.

Landhuis de Oliphant is easily accessible by public transport. We are also easily accessible by private transport. There are 10 parking spaces next to the Mansion, these are public and free. There is a large car park a 1-minute walk away, which is subject to payment.
