7 Winter Activities to Welcome the Cold Days

The definition of a winter activity

A winter activity is all about winter fun, embracing the cold and celebrating the coziness that this time of year brings. During the cold months, it is nice to seek out the warmth and come together. Whether that is for a company outing, a friends outing or a day out with the family. 

Of course, most of our winter activities are also held in a winter setting, including mood lighting, crackling fires and cosy decorations. This really brings a winter activity to life. 

Our 7 Favorite Winter Activities

At Flitz-Events we are big fans of winter! Because this season is also full of charms and possibilities. We have therefore listed 7 winter activities for you that 

1 – Learn to curl during the curling clinic

Curling. Many will know it as an Olympic winter sport that combines precision and strategy. During this curl clinic learn the basics of the game and take on the challenge of sliding as many curling stones into the circle as possible. Don't worry, the brooms are also there! 

Of course, you will receive tips and tricks from experienced instructors to master the right techniques. The fanaticism will come naturally as soon as the first curling stone is tapped away by the other team! 

2- The winter cocktail workshop 

Swap the summer mojitos and pornstar martinis for wintery taste sensations and spin-offs of true classics. During the winter cocktail workshop discover the secrets of mixing and shaking delicious cocktails. But then with winter herbs, warm spices and seasonal liqueurs. 

Create a wintery version of the Margarita or get started making a mulled wine cocktail. You are free to make whatever you want, even if you don't drink alcohol! 

3 – Laser gaming in a winter arena

Step into a challenging laser game arena and compete against each other in all-important duels full of tension and action! Work together in teams to avoid as many laser shots as possible, to hit the target yourself of course and to thwart your opponent. 

We provide a winter arena, filled with all kinds of atmospheric decorations and challenging obstacles that make the competition even more intense. In combination with the dimmed lights, we provide a unique ambiance that fits perfectly with the winter atmosphere, but still evokes excitement. 

4 – The Après ski games in a Winter Wonderland

Experience the Austrian Après-ski cosiness right here in our beautiful cold frog country. Imagine yourself in a beautiful ski village, called Winter Wonderland, surrounded by all kinds of challenging Après-ski games. You compete against each other in a selection of fun winter activities. Think of catching icicles, sliding beer mugs, collecting logs and the always fun snowball competition. Of course while enjoying a delicious hot chocolate or mulled wine.

5 – The winter pub quiz full of winter questions! 

Pub Quizzes is always a fun and challenging activity, all year round! But in the winter it gets an extra festive atmosphere with questions about winter traditions, Christmas movies, the holidays and of course the delicious winter treats. So, gather your team, prepare well and enjoy the best questions in a cozy setting. The drinks and snacks are ready for you! 

6 – Powerkiting in winter

powerkiting is an activity that you can do all year round. Especially in winter the wind is often strong and XL kiting gets an extra dimension. Feel the power of nature and let yourself be carried away over the beach, make jumps of up to 2 meters high and get started with all kinds of tricks that you can perform in the air. Power kiting is an excellent activity for a friends' outing, company outing or for a day out with the family. Also in winter! 

7 – The best of all? Then choose the Ice Games

Do you want to enjoy a whole day of different winter games? Then we have the perfect solution for you with the Ice Games! During this unique afternoon of games you will compete against each other in four winter activities: human ice bowling, tobogganing, human curling and sjoeling on ice.
